Order Processing Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Order Processing Specialist for a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, IN. This onsite contract to hire position will be responsible for providing customer service and entering purchase orders. The ideal candidate has strong computer skills, tech savvy, with previous experience entering orders or providing superior customer service.

JOB DETAILS:

Company Type: Manufacturing

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)

Hours: Training: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Dress Code: Business Casual

Hire Type / Length of Assignment: Contract to Hire

Compensation / Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00 Per Hour

Start Date: ASAP

JOB DUTIES:

Enter orders into system and provide order paperwork for Production Department.

Remain in communication with customers and provide an estimated delivery date.

Answer phone and transfer to appropriate departments.

Maintain filing system and data entry.

Cross checking purchase orders to ensure accuracy before submitting

Resolving hot items with a sense of urgency

Working alongside sales team to fulfill client orders

Documenting customer specific info into CRM system

Provide paperwork for shipped orders to process invoicing.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 1-3 years of Order Entry and/or Customer Service experience.

Tech savvy and strong computer skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Professional communication skills - verbal and written.

Skilled multi-tasker with the ability to stay organized, prioritize, and provide a strong attention to detail.
