Senior Tax and Treasury Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our northside client in their search for a qualified Senior Tax and Treasury Analyst to add to their growing team. The Senior Tax and Treasury Analyst is responsible for a variety of accounting activities in the Tax Department including, preparing and reviewing the company’s income tax returns and accounting for all income taxes and general ledger accounts relating to income and franchise taxes. Our client offers a collaborative culture with a hybrid schedule and great work flexibility.

Responsibilities:

Reviews and prepares various federal, state and local tax returns including income/franchise taxes, property taxes, sales/use taxes and payroll taxes

Prepares quarterly income/franchise tax payments and tax provisions calculations in accordance with US GAAP

Assists with audits from state and local jurisdictions

Conducts research and analysis on various tax issues

Prepares multi-state apportionment work papers for state income tax compliance

Formulates monthly accrual calculations for financial statements

Prepares and reconciles various general ledger accounts relating to taxes

Collaborates with banks regarding treasury management, etc.

Assists with cash forecasting

?Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

2+ years related experience in preparing complex consolidated income tax returns

Knowledge of U.S federal and state taxes, tax compliance and tax reporting

Self-motivated with strong work ethic and demonstrated attention to detail

Certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
