LHH is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor II for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a warehousing and distribution client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization known for its commitment to operational excellence, employee development, and customer satisfaction. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $65-75K per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, shipping, and order fulfillment

• Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts and root cause analysis

• Oversee timely and accurate pick, pack, and shipping processes

• Monitor and enforce safety standards and complete safety training

• Assign tasks and schedules to warehouse staff to maintain workflow

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency

• Prepare and present daily inventory and operational reports to management

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members for performance and growth

• Manage staffing levels, timekeeping, and administrative HR responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and operational excellence

• Participate in hands-on warehouse activities when needed

• Evaluate training programs and support employee development plans

• Foster a positive work environment aligned with company values and goals

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse operations leadership experience. 5+ years total experience

• Must have the ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced distribution environment

• Must have experience with inventory control systems and warehouse management software

• Forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse equipment preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

• Comfortable working flexible hours and occasional overtime
