Accounting Manager - Hybrid
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the daily accounting operations for a diversified business. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing month-end close processes, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general ledger management, financial analysis, and process improvement within a multi-entity or diversified environment.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with the finance team.
Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and growth.
Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and manage tax compliance requirements.
Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger systems.
Experience in a multi-entity, diversified, or manufacturing/distribution environment preferred.
Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
