Accounting Manager

LHH Recruitment Services is looking for an accounting manager to oversee a few of its companies. This is a remote position located in Jacksonville, Florida. We are looking for energetic team players who see their role as assisting management in their strategic endeavors by supplying accurate financial information and measurement of performance.

The position reports directly to the CFO and will oversee all accounting functions as well as special projects. The position requires a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, who can thrive in a demanding fast paced environment.

Accounting Manager will be responsible for key critical processes including, but not limited to:

Oversee AP process

Oversee AR process

Bank reconciliations

Cash flow management

Running payroll

Inter-company accounting and communication

Review and investigate all information to ensure accurate posting to general ledger

Ownership of accounting functions related to special projects and other business entities

Processing and Posting of inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary

Ownership of all postings of monthly, quarterly and annual journal entries

Oversee and manage supporting documentation for audits

Ownership of preparation of monthly financial statements

Create and present to management ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Work with accounting managers at other Jensen companies in standardizing internal control practices and procedures

Work with other team members in other areas of accounting/finance/business operations as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

A proven track record of academic and professional excellence

A working knowledge of GAAP accrual-based accounting is a must

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

CPA designation a plus, but not required

5-10 years of Senior Level or above accounting experience

3+ years of managerial experience

Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

Detail-oriented focus with organization demonstrated in work flow, output and scheduling

Ability to meet assigned deadlines

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required

Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge required

Base salary

$75,000/yr - $82,000/yr
