ACCOUNT PAYABLE SPECIALIST

LHH Recruitment Services is seeking an Accounts Specialist who has strong time management and organizational skills. We are looking for a tech-savvy, team player who loves to review and process documents according to the company business rules. This position is remote in Jacksonville, Florida. Our client is hiring on a contract basis with the potential to be become a permanent employee.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Accounts Payable in a high – volume department

· Accurately enter and upload vendor bills

· Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

· Set up new vendors as needed within the software system

· Responsible for mailing payments

· Prepare and process check requests

· Perform special projects as assigned

· Update budget spreadsheets

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Degree in accounting, finance, or related field

· 3 + years accounts payable experience

· Ability to thrive in a fast-growing business

· Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail

· Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information

· Strong verbal and written communications

· Ability to adjust priorities to meet deadlines

· Knowledge of accounting software

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

WORK HOURS:

· Monday – Friday

· Start time 8:00 A.M.

· 8 Hour days
