Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour (Depending on Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team onsite in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of accounting principles and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
