Assistant Controller

Are you an aspiring controller with manufacturing experience looking to take the next steps in your career? We are assisting a local Indianapolis client in their search for a qualified Assistant Controller to support current staff with their rapid growth. They will provide accurate and timely cost accounting activities along with a willingness to take on difficult tasks and projects and report to the controller. Responsibilities:

Maintain and ensure accuracy of general ledger

Prepare the monthly and yearly closes of relevant financial statements

Significant cost accounting activities by locations

Inventory reports

Ad-hoc financial analysis on all office locations

Requirements:

Minimum of Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance

5+ years’ experience in accounting/financial role, manufacture industry experience highly preferred

Extensive experience with GAAP standards

Excellent knowledge and experience with Quickbooks and Excel

Exemplary communication skills, verbal and written

Desire to join a rapidly growing work environment and organization
