LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for multiple Payroll Specialists in Jacksonville, Florida. These hybrid positions will be 2-3 days in office and require light payroll experience. The client is looking to bring on a team of 4 to join the payroll team in contract and contract to hire positions. The compensation for these roles will range from $17 - $21 per hour. The main payroll knowledge / experience that the client is looking for will be regarding wage garnishments and supporting multistate payroll. If you are interested in this role, please apply today!

Job Responsibilities:

Process bi-weekly payroll on a multistate level

Review and verify time records within the Kronos system

Calculate payroll adjustments for mis-punches regarding time clock issues

Resolve payroll inquiries with assigned stores in region

Scan and index payroll records

Assist the Payroll Manager

Assist employees with questions regarding pay and deductions

Ensure accuracy in Tax, Garnishments, and Employee Verifications

Communicate with Payroll Manager and HR regarding compliance issues

Skills &Qualifications:

High School Diploma

1 - 2 years of payroll experience

Strong attention to detail

Ability to communicate with others effectively and efficiently

Positive and welcoming attitude when supporting others

Strong customer service skills

Proficient in Excel

Working knowledge of payroll taxes and laws

Work Hours:

This position is full-time, Monday thru Friday from 8:00am – 5pm
