LHH is working with our client who is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Procurement Operations Specialist to join their team. This role requires expertise in interpreting system-driven data, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with stakeholders to streamline procurement processes and enhance workflow activities. Your contributions will play a critical role in aligning procurement policies with ERP development and ensuring efficient vendor management.

MUST be commutable to South Ozone Park (Queens) on a hybrid basis. Our client also provides a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze data derived from daily system activities to pinpoint user and vendor issues and provide insights for e-commerce development.

· Monitor vendor databases and management systems to maintain accurate records, vendor searches, and addresses.

· Collaborate with the Procurement Administrator to interpret system-driven data, address problems, and improve workflow activities within the P2P system.

· Oversee ERP training and support materials, promptly addressing stakeholder concerns to enhance communication.

· Provide critical contributions to operational corrections and process improvements.

· Offer confidential and interactive support to procurement office colleagues.

· Service vendor relationships across various commodities and resolve vendor registry issues.

· Provide training, support, and troubleshooting to all users of the supply chain ERP system.

· Monitor new vendor requests and existing vendor maintenance activities, assisting with timely edits and purge tasks.

· Generate frequent reports for leadership, including customer and vendor issues, invoice-before-PO scenarios, frequent purchases, and contract expirations.

· Identify adverse processes or opportunities to deploy ERP tools to align procurement policies with ERP developments.

Qualifications

· Associates degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 3 years) with progressive responsibilities.

· Strong understanding of ERP systems, contracts, pricing, and procurement practices.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement ERP software.
