Location: Kansas City, Missouri (In-Office, Monday–Friday)
Salary: $60,000 – $68,000 annually
Bonus: Eligible for annual bonus at 1300 hours (no minimum billable hour requirement)

LHH is recruiting on behalf of a respected law firm in Kansas City, MO, actively seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a background in medical malpractice and trial preparation.

Position Overview:
The paralegal team works in a collaborative, non-assigned structure, where work is distributed based on capacity and caseload—not by attorney. You'll work alongside a dedicated group of legal professionals handling active medical malpractice and civil litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare for trial by organizing case files, exhibits, timelines, and witness lists
Draft and manage pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
Review and summarize medical records and expert reports
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts, and external experts
Maintain organized digital and physical case files using legal software
Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably in medical malpractice or trial work
Ability to take initiative and work independently without heavy supervision
Familiarity with Missouri civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements
Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
