LHH is partnering with a client in the downtown KCMO area who is seeking a receptionist. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting visitors, answering, and directing phone calls, managing office supplies, and providing administrative support to various departments.
Responsibilities:
· Greet and welcome visitors with a positive and professional attitude.
· Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
· Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
· Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
· Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
· Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
· Provide general administrative support to staff and management.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
· Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
· Professional attitude and appearance.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
· Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
· Customer service attitude
