Client Billing Specialist


LHH Recruitment is hiring a Client Billing Specialist for a Company in Kansas City, KS. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our clients. This is a contract role with potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of client billing and business to business accounts receivable experience. Read below for additional details!


RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Invoice Preparation: Generate and review client invoices based on services rendered, contracts, and pricing agreements.


· Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure billing accuracy, adherence to company policies, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.


· Client Communication: Address billing inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide exceptional customer service to clients.


· Payment Processing: Record payments, track outstanding balances, and collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts.


· Data Analysis: Analyze billing data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.


· Reporting: Prepare regular reports on billing metrics, aging receivables, and collection efforts.


· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, and operations) to resolve billing-related issues.


· System Maintenance: Maintain billing software, update client information, and troubleshoot technical issues.


· Collections: Assist in collections efforts for overdue accounts.


QUALIFICATIONS:


· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.


· Experience: Minimum of 2 years in billing, accounts receivable, or related roles.


· Skills:


· Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).


· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.


· Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex billing scenarios.


· Customer-focused mindset and ability to build positive client relationships.


· Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Billing Specialist) are a plus.
