Contract Payroll Analyst


LHH is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Kansas City, Missouri. This is a 6 month contract role, and is completely remote. Candidates must meet the experience requirements to be considered for this role.


Job Description:

Responsible for managing pay processes and proactively identifying process improvements.


Responsible the reconciliation of payroll records (e.g., payments, deductions,), which may include the management of third-party payroll vendors for multiple countries.


Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of payroll processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills - Interprets pay policies, (e.g., vacation, LOA, disability, workers compensation, union contracts – outside of the US, government regulations, withholding exemptions, etc.) and ensures appropriate amounts/deductions are calculated and applied within the payroll correctly.


Monitors and manages payroll legislation compliance.


Education:


High School Diploma (Secondary School).


Work Experience:


Total combined related work experience and completed higher education - At least 8 years.


Human resources and/or business operations work experience - At least 2 years.


Additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education - At least 6 years.
