Job: Customer Account Manager Company: LHH Recruitment Solutions Client Industry: Wholesaler Type: Direct Hire Location:Katy TX (Onsite, 77493 zip code) Salary Range: $60K - $65K DOE Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Role Overview: The Customer Account Manager supports the sales team by managing day-to-day account activities for assigned customers. This includes ensuring smooth communication, handling inquiries, and managing the customer purchase order process. The goal is to provide comprehensive support, allowing the sales team to focus on acquiring new business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Management: Oversee customer purchase orders from placement to delivery and ensure timely and accurate processing.
Reporting: Create and share customized weekly Order Status Reports with customer departments.
Communication: Proactively update customers about order changes and resolve inquiries, including accounts receivable issues.
Customer Advocacy: Provide tailored solutions and act as a liaison between customers and the company.
Sales Support: Assist with routine tasks, recommend operational improvements, and aid in promotional and forecasting efforts.
Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to ensure product availability and organize container bookings.
Account Maintenance: Prepare monthly account reconciliations, statements of demand, and maintain up-to-date records.
Participation: Contribute to organizational meetings and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years in account management.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university.
Skills: Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and Office365.
