The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels and supplier relationships in a fast-paced setting, and meeting deadlines effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and sending purchase orders.

• Upholding service level and inventory targets.

• Ensuring on-time deliveries and resolving backorders.

• Monitoring inventory and suggesting clearance strategies.

• Managing excessive or obsolete stock.

• Advising on inventory item discontinuation.

• Mastering purchasing systems and processes.

• Resolving supplier issues for sustained quality service.

Requirements:

• Preferably three years of purchasing experience.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.

• Ability to multitask and make independent decisions.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems is a plus.
