LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a reputable manufacturing company in the Lake Sucess area that is looking to hire for an Associate Director overseeing their Project Managment Department on a Permanent/Direct Hire basis. Job Summary:

The Associate Director of Project Management reports to and assists the Sr. Director and will help to identify and implement new initiatives to provide best-in-class customer support and is responsible for delivering strategic solutions to address an ever changing industry and workforce. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of customer service, vendor management, inventory management and risk mitigation
  • Partner with sales to deliver the best outcome for new and existing customers
  • Responsible for the personnel for outcomes and work performance
  • Draft and implement SOP/ process improvement initiatives to achieve outcomes that align to the roadmap
  • Work with the Sr. Director to implement initiatives focusing on the 3 areas of elevation: communication, execution of work and outcomes
  • Work with the Sr. Director to establish key performance indicators within the department
  • Participate in cross functional teams to ensure continuous improvements relating to the day-to-day operations, foster collaboration and align on outcomes
  • Collaborate with Sr. Director to drive cultural initiatives within the department
  • Partner with Sr. Director and VP, HR to continuously assess talent and define role benchmarks within the department
  • Own the development of direct reports through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments
  • Role Requirements:

  • BA/BS Required
  • 5-8 years of personnel management experience
  • 5-8 years of interacting with a sales team
  • 5-8 years of project management; certification is a plus
  • Experience working in the manufacturing industry a must
  • Advanced Excel skills including the Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of/experience working with CRM or similar applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Experience working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Self-starter with abilities to meet key deadlines
