Administrative Assisant (Procurement Team)

LHH is partnering with a biotech company in Lakewood, CO to fill a contract Administrative Assistant role on a procurement team. In this role, you will be performing complex administrative duties where judgment and analysis are required. The best candidate will have previous administrative experience supporting procurement efforts and should be familiar with SAP. This is a contract position through the end of the year with a possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance.

Job Type: Contract, expected until the end of December 2022; could be extended or converted

Compensation: $23-$24/hr, depending on experience

Hours and Location: M-F, 8 am-5 pm; ONSITE in Lakewood, CO

Responsibilities

Establishing and maintaining procedures and systems for processing work and projects

Being a point of contact between multiple departments; responsible for communicating schedules, keeping records, board meetings, agendas, etc.

Coordinating travel and reviewing meeting expenses for payment

Composing correspondence and establishing formats for communication

Identifying process improvements where necessary

Participating in the completion of special projects, particularly presentations

Operating routine office-related equipment

Preparing reports, compiling data for analysis, investigating and resolving problems, and handling special projects

Qualifications

High school diploma required

At least two years of administrative experience

Knowledge and use of PC applications and software

Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) proficiency

Familiarity and understanding of SAP, strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of math principles

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to plan and meet deadlines, prioritizes, and handles several projects simultaneously.

Considers the impact on the customer when making decisions

Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
