LHH is currently seeking an Order Entry Specialist for one of our clients located in the Lincolnshire area. The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years of Order Entry experience. The main responsibility for this position will be to assist customers and our sales representatives with existing customer orders, This is a TEMP TO HIRE opportunity.

Duties

  • Processing incoming customer purchase orders, whether received by email, telephone, or web portal.
  • Fielding incoming customer telephone calls to assist customers with placing orders, tracing shipments, and providing product information
  • Handle issues, questions and follow-ups for customers.
  • Supporting the field sales force as needed by entering quotations, updating customer data, processing sample and literature requests.
  • Developing new business opportunities with existing customers as time and opportunities permit
  • Qualifications

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree is ideal
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a customer service or call center environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including professional phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with positive attitude, professional presence and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Previous telephone customer service experience preferred. Ideally in a company with a broad (multi-product) product line
