Orden Entry Specialist

LHH is currently seeking an Order Entry Specialist for one of our clients located in the Lincolnshire area. The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years of Order Entry experience. The main responsibility for this position will be to assist customers and our sales representatives with existing customer orders, This is a TEMP TO HIRE opportunity.

Duties

Processing incoming customer purchase orders, whether received by email, telephone, or web portal.

Fielding incoming customer telephone calls to assist customers with placing orders, tracing shipments, and providing product information

Handle issues, questions and follow-ups for customers.

Supporting the field sales force as needed by entering quotations, updating customer data, processing sample and literature requests.

Developing new business opportunities with existing customers as time and opportunities permit

Qualifications

Associates or bachelor’s degree is ideal

2-3 years of previous experience in a customer service or call center environment

Excellent written and verbal communications skills including professional phone etiquette.

Ability to work independently and in a team with positive attitude, professional presence and exceptional customer service.

Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines across multiple projects.

Previous telephone customer service experience preferred. Ideally in a company with a broad (multi-product) product line
