Debt Finance Paralegal

A renowned law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Paralegal to join their Los Angeles office. This position is a full-time, hybrid, and permanent position. If you’re a team player interested in debt and transactional law, please read the following for more information.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting corporate transaction documents
  • Performing lien searches, obtaining necessary records, and documenting findings
  • Preparing transactional closing documents and conducting closing procedures
  • Creating closing binders
  • Tracking post-closing matters
  • Calendaring, managing tickler systems, and tracking deliverables
  • Filing UCC and corporate documents
  • Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program required
  • Minimum 3 years of debt finance and transactional experience or other relevant work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite and e-discovery technology
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • UCC Article 9 experience preferred
  • Four-year degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
