Debt Finance Paralegal

A renowned law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Paralegal to join their Los Angeles office. This position is a full-time, hybrid, and permanent position. If you’re a team player interested in debt and transactional law, please read the following for more information.

Responsibilities:

Drafting corporate transaction documents

Performing lien searches, obtaining necessary records, and documenting findings

Preparing transactional closing documents and conducting closing procedures

Creating closing binders

Tracking post-closing matters

Calendaring, managing tickler systems, and tracking deliverables

Filing UCC and corporate documents

Qualifications:

Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited program required

Minimum 3 years of debt finance and transactional experience or other relevant work experience

Excellent interpersonal skills

Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite and e-discovery technology

Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

UCC Article 9 experience preferred

Four-year degree preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail
