Our client, a commercial real estate management firm, located in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Property Accountant on a contract basis with potential for contract to hire. The ideal candidate will have five plus years of property accounting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze general ledgers for portfolio of properties. Process journal entries, calculate month accrual and update balance sheet back up schedules
  • Review and approve A/P, payroll entries, A/R adjustments, daily cash receipts journal, etc.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages. Present financials to management.
  • Provide accounting detail and assistance to internal and external auditors
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget package, detailed variance analysis, and balance sheet analysis
  • CAM Recovery Reconciliations
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience in similar role
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • Strong understanding of Property Management
  • Experience working with YARDI
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule
