Senior Property Accountant in Los Angeles, California

Our client, a commercial real estate management firm, located in Downtown Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Property Accountant on a contract basis with potential for contract to hire. The ideal candidate will have five plus years of property accounting experience.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze general ledgers for portfolio of properties. Process journal entries, calculate month accrual and update balance sheet back up schedules

Review and approve A/P, payroll entries, A/R adjustments, daily cash receipts journal, etc.

Prepare monthly reporting packages. Present financials to management.

Provide accounting detail and assistance to internal and external auditors

Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budget package, detailed variance analysis, and balance sheet analysis

CAM Recovery Reconciliations

Requirements:

5+ years of accounting experience in similar role

Bachelor’s in Accounting

Strong understanding of Property Management

Experience working with YARDI

Ability to work a hybrid schedule
