Staff Accountant in Louisville, Kentucky

Responsibilities:

Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries

Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements

Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information

Analyzes financial documents and makes necessary adjustments.

Review cash deposits and prepare cash receipt journal entries

Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals

Reviews quarterly and annual payroll-related reports

Oversees bi-annual fixed assets inventory

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required, accounting/finance focused preferred

3+ years of experience in an accounting focused role ideal

Recent graduates with internship experience are also encouraged to apply

Strong attention to detail, with ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

$45-65k (depending on level of experience)
