Project Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Project Accountant for our client in Maitland, FL. This is an onsite, direct hire opportunity!

Responsibilities

Manage the expenses, billing and budget for capital construction projects

Responsible for various accounting functions including: invoice and payment processing, purchase orders, journal entries/GL, depreciation, budgeting/variance analysis, reconciliations, financial statements/analysis/reporting, tax return filing, etc.

Experience

Minimum of five years of full cycle accounting experience required

Previous construction accounting and project management experience highly desired

Skills/Knowledge

Solid Microsoft Excel skills are essential

Proficiency in Sage software strongly preferred

Advanced accounting knowledge/GAAP

Great multi-tasker, detail-oriented and deadline driven

Excellent organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting strongly preferred

Work Hours/Pay Rate

Monday-Friday - 40 hours per week

$70-85K
