We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee bi-weekly payroll operations across the US and Canada. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations while maintaining strict confidentiality of employee data.
Key Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly payroll for US and Canadian employees, including wages, overtime, deductions, benefits, and commissions
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and assist with new state registrations and government notices
Reconcile payroll data and verify accuracy of time records, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions
Prepare and file payroll tax reports, W-2s, T4s, and other statutory forms
Manage employee expense reimbursements and ensure policy compliance
Record payroll entries in the General Ledger and support payroll-related changes
Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies confidentially
Maintain payroll systems and implement process improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3–5 years of payroll experience, ideally with US and Canadian jurisdictions
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax codes
Proficiency in ADP or similar payroll systems and advanced Excel skills
Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $125,000.00 per year
