HR Assistant - Position Summary
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven HR Assistant to support our clients rapidly growing manufacturing plant in Manor, TX. This role is essential in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting onboarding processes, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations.
Location: Manor, TX
Pay Rate: $23–$26/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Timekeeping & Data Entry
    • Enter and maintain employee timecards in Dayforce
    • Export and process timecard data using Excel
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll-related entries
  • Onboarding & Employee Support
    • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation
    • Provide basic tech troubleshooting for plant employees
    • Support badge creation, I-9 verification, and document collection
  • HR Administration
    • Maintain employee records and update HRIS systems
    • Support compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating HR meetings
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with the onsite HR Generalist and remote HR Director
    • Respond to employee inquiries with a service-first mindset
    • Help coordinate HR communications and updates
Typical Day-to-Day
  • Start the day reviewing and entering timecard data
  • Respond to employee questions about onboarding or system access
  • Coordinate with the HR Generalist on new hire paperwork
  • Export and review Excel reports for payroll processing
  • Troubleshoot basic tech issues (e.g., login problems, kiosk access)
  • Update employee files and assist with HR documentation
Minimum Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Dayforce or similar HRIS/timekeeping systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, exporting data)
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable troubleshooting basic employee issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred


Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
