LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a leading company in the Energy and Environmental sector, located in Marcus Hook, PA, to identify a highly skilled Senior Buyer for a fully onsite, temp-to-perm opportunity. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $45–$50, with strong potential to transition into a permanent position in 2026.

Job Title: Senior Buyer

Location:Marcus Hook, PA (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for assigned categories, including RFQs, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance) to understand material and service requirements.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory using ERP systems.
• Support sustainability initiatives through responsible sourcing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of industry experience in energy, utilities, environmental services, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
