The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of intermodal transportation. This role acts as a critical point of contact between domestic and international supply chain teams, warehouses, carriers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
What You’ll Do:
Schedule and manage drayage carriers for container pick-ups and deliveries; evaluate and track carrier performance.
Monitor all inbound container shipments (FCL and LCL) to ensure on-time arrivals.
Audit transportation invoices and oversee payment processing for container deliveries.
Investigate and resolve rail and steamship line charges or discrepancies.
Collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to troubleshoot and resolve clearance issues.
Keep warehouse teams informed with updated inbound shipment schedules.
Monitor industry updates including port or rail disruptions and regulatory changes.
Coordinate outbound shipments with customer-designated carriers and ensure accurate shipping documentation (e.g., BOL).
Manage drayage carrier RFQ process.
Qualifications:
3+ years of logistics experience, with a focus on intermodal transportation.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
