Project Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Project Accountant in McHenry, IL. This role will be 100% onsite in McHenry. Seeking a candidate with construction project accounting experience who has done AIA billing and collections.

Worksite location – 100% Onsite in McHenry, IL

Salary: $60-70K (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable experience necessary within construction ideally- AIA billing and collection calls

• Project set up, manage waivers, change orders, close-out documents

• Accounting clerical work. Work with accounting management

• Cross-training in other roles

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.

• Good time management is required. Communication skills, verbal and written.

• Critical thinking and problem solving ability.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications, as well as advanced computer skills.

• Knowledge of Accounting programs, such as QuickBooks.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

• Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines.

• Possess good judgment and attention to detail. Energetic and positive attitude.
