Financial Analyst

LHH has partnered with a construction company in McKinney, TX to hire an entry level Financial Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial operations. The analyst will work closely with the Controller, CFO and key departments to provide accurate and timely financial insights that support effective business decision-making. This position is in office, business casual dress with a competitive salary range of $55-60K plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in job-level financial analysis including job cost tracking and profitability assessment
Analyze and monitor cash flow, ensuring alignment with budgeting and forecasting objectives
Support monthly end close activities, pulling and reviewing key financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy
Collaborate with leadership to update and maintain performance dashboards and financial models
Maintain daily updates to key financial and operational data to support real-time decision-making
Monitor labor costs and assist in calculating cost per job, including detailed labor breakdowns
Oversee payroll tracking and reporting for compliance across active jobs
Support time and attendance reviews in coordination with payroll processes to ensure labor data integrity
Assist with financial reporting preparation including P&L statements, variance analysis, and ad hoc reports as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
0 years of experience is required, strong willingness to learn and grow
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across departments
