LHH has partnered with a construction company in McKinney, TX to hire an entry level Financial Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial operations. The analyst will work closely with the Controller, CFO and key departments to provide accurate and timely financial insights that support effective business decision-making. This position is in office, business casual dress with a competitive salary range of $55-60K plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in job-level financial analysis including job cost tracking and profitability assessment

  • Analyze and monitor cash flow, ensuring alignment with budgeting and forecasting objectives

  • Support monthly end close activities, pulling and reviewing key financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy

  • Collaborate with leadership to update and maintain performance dashboards and financial models

  • Maintain daily updates to key financial and operational data to support real-time decision-making

  • Monitor labor costs and assist in calculating cost per job, including detailed labor breakdowns

  • Oversee payroll tracking and reporting for compliance across active jobs

  • Support time and attendance reviews in coordination with payroll processes to ensure labor data integrity

  • Assist with financial reporting preparation including P&L statements, variance analysis, and ad hoc reports as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 0 years of experience is required, strong willingness to learn and grow

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across departments
