Job: Accounting Clerk


Pay: $25/hr


Job Type: Full time, Contract, On-site


Job Summary: The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing account billing for internal and external customers and ensuring resolution of customer billing inquiries. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records of financial transactions, reconciliation of financial statements and systems, and creation of ad-hoc reports to assist with driving business decisions for shipments.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform all Accounts Receivables research and investigations to resolve customer accounts
  • Setup, process, and maintain customer orders to ensure timely processing of customer invoices
  • Record, organize and maintain record of all accruals and reconciliations
  • Generate, distribute, and/or update customer portals with customer invoices in a timely manner to enable collection of obligations
  • Conduct monthly revenue and cost reconciliations and analysis across systems and update the leger if necessary to prevent financial statement imbalances
  • Submit credit requests and credit increases for new and existing customers to initiate the processing and purchase


RequiredSkills:

  • Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience:
  • Required: Minimum 2 years of work experience in Billing, Accounting Receivables, or related Accounting discipline
Education:
  • Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related Business field
