LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our healthcare client in hiring a Medical AR Specialist. This role will be 100% onsite in Melville and will be a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.

This position will be focused on the backend of the billing cycle, analyzing and correcting denials for resubmittal, following up with insurances, and performing collections duties. Interested candidates must be knowledgable of Medicaid insurance and hospital billing processes and procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years medical billing/backend AR experience
• Experience working within EMR Systems and Microsoft Office

• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem-solve independently
• Can work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different tasks as needed
• Ability to work well indepently and meet production metrics as outlined by management
• Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone
• Able to multitask proficiently and effectively
