Job Title: Senior Accountant Hybrid work environment
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our high-performing accounting team. You bring a solid foundation in accounting principles and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll play a critical role in the monthly close process, support cross-functional initiatives, and continuously seek ways to improve processes and controls.
As a key member of the Finance organization, you’ll report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with AP, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A. This position offers exposure to technical accounting, process improvement, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Own critical components of the monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses in accordance with US GAAP.
Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, identify key trends, and provide clear commentary on variance drivers.
Collaborate across departments to support accounting for operational activities and business initiatives.
Participate in and drive efforts to automate and streamline manual processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of internal controls and policies to support compliance and best practices.
Provide support for external audits, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
Support integration efforts for acquired entities and ensure alignment with existing accounting practices and systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with large-scale ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
Strong understanding of accounting systems and ability to extract, reconcile, and interpret data
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, team-first mindset
Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
CPA designation (or progress toward it)
Experience with Workday ERP
Background in the healthcare industry or working in regulated environments
