Medical Credentialing

LHH is currently seeking an experienced Medical Credentialer for a temp-to-perm role based in Mesa, AZ. The compensation will range between $21 - $26 per hour DOE (potential for bonuses), and hold a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.

The right candidate will hold at least 2 years of recent Medical Credentialing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up to date enrollment and terminations of Providers/Payors while gathering pertinent information
  • Maintain updated credentialing and re-credentialing documents, while requesting needed items and maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy
  • Submitting applications (Commercial plans), while ensuring effective and timely follow up
  • Escalate requests to supervisor or other key stakeholders
  • Update and maintain information in database
  • Monitor and manage both enrollment and terminations of newly incoming and existing Providers/Payors
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed
  • Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED - 2 or more years of experience in Medical Credentialing for Providers/Payors
  • CPCS Certification is required
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid, Commercial plans, and knowledge of NCQA standards
  • Experience in Excel, MS Suite
  • Detail oriented and ability to effectively meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task effectively, work individually as well as in a team environment
  • High efficiency in problem resolution
  • Compensation:

  • $21 – $26 per hour, DOE
  • Potential for quarterly bonuses
  • Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8am – 5pm
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
