Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Laborer to assist with a variety of maintenance and operational tasks related to street upkeep, land care, and facility maintenance. This position plays an important role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and appearance of public infrastructure and grounds.

Pay: $17-$20

Essential Job Functions:

Street Maintenance

• Assist in grading, ditching, patching, and blacktopping roads

• Perform shoulder maintenance and light replacement

• Support snow and ice removal operations as weather requires

Land Maintenance

• Participate in drainage grading, flood control, and relief work

• Perform general lawn care, weed control, landscaping, and tree maintenance/removal

• Carry out general groundskeeping and housekeeping duties

Facility & Equipment Maintenance

• Help maintain buildings, equipment, and facilities

• Perform greasing and basic preventative maintenance on tools and machinery as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions

• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in maintenance work

• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in maintenance, landscaping, or construction-related work

• Valid driver’s license preferred

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed outdoors and indoors; exposure to varying weather conditions
