LHH is partnering with a crew accommodations company in Minneapolis, MN to fill a direct hire Airline Support Specialist role. In this role, you will utilize our clients’ proprietary technology system to provide an exceptional experience for pilots and crew by providing prompt and professional customer service and scheduling support. The best candidate will have an aptitude for using technology and desire to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $21/hr and company benefits, including 401(k) match and health insurance

Hours and Location: ONSITE in an office next to the MSP airport in Minneapolis, MN; 2pm-midnight shift or equivalent evening shifts; 4 days a week, 10 hour shifts; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts needed the most; schedule to be adjusted based on coverage needed.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expedient and professional
  • Serving as the on-site liaison with the airline partner
  • Responding to customer needs with prompt, accurate, and professional communication
  • Negotiating with vendors (hotels, ground transportation, etc.) to achieve the best outcomes for customers and the company
  • Resolving disagreements with tact and professionalism; researching solutions to provide customer satisfaction
  • Adapting to irregular operations to accommodate the changing dynamics of airline schedules; this includes extended work schedules, and working “on call” as needed
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience with airline or hotel reservations systems a strong plus (but not required)
  • Flexible work schedule including availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work overtime if needed
  • Second language a PLUS!
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging role
  • Ability to work under pressure with ever-changing schedules for crews
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and technology skills
