Senior Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a successful biopharmaceutical company in the search for a Senior Accountant. In this role, you will be part of a well tenured finance team with Big4 experience. In the role of Senior Accountant, your job would include:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate accounting functions and programs.

  • Prepare financial analyses and reports.

  • Create revenue projections and forecast expenditure.

  • Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets.

  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

  • Assist with annual audit preparations.

  • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.

  • Prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns.

  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

  • Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.

  • Candidates for this Senior Account role possess the following:

    Requirements:

  • 3+ years of auditor experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.

  • Previous manufacturing or biotech experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.

  • Strong financial analysis skills.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

  • Ability to train and manage staff.

  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.

  • Job Details:

  • Work schedule: 2-3 days in the office
