LHH is currently recruiting for an Accounting Analyst for a contract role within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, with hands-on experience using SAP. This role is critical in supporting accurate financial operations and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Utilize SAP to extract, analyze, and report financial data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial documentation and reporting.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in SAP is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.
