Job Title: Data, Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate
Job Description:
A leading Venture Capital law firm is seeking a highly skilled Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Attorney to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and software licensing, particularly in the fintech and healthtech sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal counsel on data privacy and cybersecurity matters, ensuring clients' compliance with the latest regulations.
Advise on complex technology and software licensing agreements, helping clients navigate the intricacies of the digital landscape.
Collaborate with innovative clients in the fintech and healthtech industries, driving forward-thinking solutions and strategies.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of relevant experience (flexible for more junior/senior candidates).
Strong background in data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology law.
Proven experience with software licensing and specific software fields such as fintech and healthtech.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary ranging from $165,000 to $250,000, depending on experience.
Guaranteed bonus for 1,600 billable hours.
10% originations, recognizing your contributions to the firm's growth.
Location:
New York City.
Work Environment:
Hybrid work model with in-office presence 3 days a week.
