LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a dynamic Senior Accountant in the New York City area with 3 or more years of experience. This is a great contract-to-hire role that offers lots of potential growth. The role involves managing the company’s financial data, accounts, and receipts. Along with handling the company transactions and cash flow, be an integral part of company’s financial audits, following proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial statement preparation including variance analysis and commentaries for month, quarter, and year end close
  • Assist with audit schedules at year end for both Internal and external audit process
  • Managing fixed asset depreciation schedules
  • General ledger account reconciliations
  • Reconciling bank statements monthly
  • Overseeing and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes if needed
  • Ad-hoc accounting related projects and reporting as requested
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Great Plains software experience
  • Detail oriented
  • General Ledger Experience
  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadline
