Senior Accountant in New York, New York

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an ambitious Senior Accountant with three to five years of general accounting experience within the Nonprofit background. This is a company offering future growth potential. You will work closely with the finance teams helping move the company forward with detailed financial reporting, making recommendations for future based on your analysis.

Responsibilities:

Senior Accountant with 3-5 plus years progressive accounting

Responsible for related month-end close tasks and reporting

Preparation of financial statements

Reconciling of key accounts, financial analysis, and assisting with the budgeting process.

Provide variance and gross margin analysis and P&L analysis

Work with operations and management delivering financial results and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required

Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups

Minimum of 3-5 years of ERP software experience

Detail oriented

Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadline
