Job Title: Sr. HR Manager
Location: Chelsea (Manhattan) & Secaucus, NJ (with travel to/from NYC/NJ office as needed)
Salary: $150K base, with total compensation around $160K-$170K (flexible on base vs. bonus distribution)
About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive, and motivated Sr. HR Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within our rapidly growing organization. The Sr. HR Manager will report to the Sr. Director, HR, and will play a crucial role in supporting human resource functions across multiple states. This position is ideal for a professional looking to upskill and grow within a dynamic HR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance: Assist in implementing HR strategies to support business growth, ensure compliance with employment laws, and maintain the employee handbook.
Benefit Administration & Payroll Support: Manage employee benefit programs, resolve payroll discrepancies, and oversee open enrollment processes.
Learning & Development: Support performance review processes, design training programs, and identify growth opportunities for employees.
Talent Acquisition & Retention: Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, source candidates, and enhance the onboarding program.
Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a key HR contact for employee relations issues, support conflict resolution, and enhance workplace culture.
HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with labor laws, and generate HR reports and analytics.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of HR experience with exposure to all major functional areas of HR.
Strong understanding of labor law and HR best practices.
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Experience managing or working with HRIS platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.
