LHH Recruitment Solutions has an open role as a Staff Accountant for a Non- Profit located in NY. If you are not working and looking to gain experience in accounting, apply today! You will be assisting the accounting and finance team to ensure AP processing; weekly reporting and the month end close is completed. Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with account analysis
  • Check spreadsheets for Accuracy
  • Assist with preparing financial statements
  • Prepare and post journal entries processing Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations including inventory, customer, and vendor advance deposits.

  • Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software and Microsoft Office are required
  • Knowledge of the use of Excel (VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables)
  • Excellent communication and written skills
