On-Site HR Administrative Support – Newark | $27-$289per hour
Contract Role
Summary: Provide administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer and assist with HR functions across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the CHRO’s calendar and coordinate division functions
Track project deadlines and assist with personnel transactions (e.g., separations, promotions, leaves, transfers)
Support performance management and disciplinary processes
Recommend organizational improvements and resolve administrative issues
Draft correspondence, reports, and maintain HR records
Assist with onboarding and employee events (e.g., benefits enrollment, recognition events)
Schedule and attend meetings, prepare reports
Maintain confidentiality and perform HR file audits
Provide employee information and explain policies and benefits
Coordinate services such as maintenance and supplies
Serve as backup for HR team members and perform other duties as needed
Behavioral Competencies:

Customer Service: Understands and meets internal/external customer needs
Communication: Shares information clearly and listens actively
Accountability: Takes ownership and contributes fairly
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
Minimum 5 years of administrative experience, ideally in HR or as an executive assistant
Strong knowledge of HR policies, organizational structure, and employment laws
Skilled in document preparation, grammar, and formatting
Pay Details: $28.00 to $29.00 per hour
