Senior Accounts Payable Analyst in Newark, New Jersey

LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our Newark, New Jersey client in their search for a temp to perm Senior Accounts Payable Analyst. The Senior AP Analyst will own the Accounts Payable process for the organization. The role will be onsite five days per week.

Job Overview:

Processing payments for all PO's and account source verification for all payments

Managing all bank account transfers and deb service payments

Balancing accounts. Preparing summary of balances, cost information or other reports as requested

Reconciling bank statements

Posting operations progress and other reports

Verifying and posting details of business transsactions to appropriate ledgers

Compiling and checking source documents such as vouchers, invoices, purchase orders and cash receipts for accuracy and preparing reports

Researching and resolving any issues related to invoices items, prices or receiving signatures

Maintaining department inventory and procurement records

Work with warehouse to verify goods and services have been received

Prepare and distribute bill list for monthly commission meeting

Manage vendor locations, W9 information and yearly 1099 distribution

Ad hoc analytical projects as requested

Qualifications:

5+ years of Accounts Payable experience

Experience with Oracle strongly preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical skills

Detail oriented

Strong written and verbal communication skills
