LHH is working with a great law firm who is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our team in Newport Beach. This hybrid role combines paralegal, legal assistant, and corporate support responsibilities, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Transactional & Legal Support:
Draft and review legal documents, including resolutions, filings, certificates, and opinions.
Prepare and manage closing documents and checklists from start to finish.
Coordinate closings: assemble files, manage DTC letters, resolutions, and filings.
Distribute executed documents via email, Firmex, or physical delivery.
Conduct final page-checking and ensure proper execution of documents.
Maintain accurate time entries in Elite 3E.
Corporate Support:
Create and maintain corporate records for nonprofit financing entities.
File annual tax returns and manage compliance documentation.
Legal Assistant Duties:
Revise and format documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Manage PDFs: compile, redact, and convert formats.
Organize data room documents and assist with travel and event coordination.
Open new client/matter files and manage billing arrangements.
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in a law firm as a legal assistant or paralegal.
BA/BS degree and Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Firmex a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000
Onsite, Mon - Fri
