Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Pay: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role:


As a Human Resources Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting daily HR operations. You'll interact with employees, management, and other stakeholders, focusing on HRIS data accuracy, administrative support, and employee service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records in the HRIS system and paper files

  • Assist the payroll administrator when needed

  • Support employees through the leave of absence process

  • Coordinate onboarding and annual training programs

  • Help organize events such as job fairs, health fairs, and other HR initiatives

  • Assist in recruitment: screen candidates, schedule interviews, and manage logistics

  • Conduct job offers and manage pre-employment screenings

  • Provide general clerical and administrative support

  • Handle confidential employee information with discretion

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Professional phone etiquette and call-handling skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), HRIS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
