Medical Biller
Location: Norwood, OH
Position Type: Full-Time

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Medical Biller with a strong background in physician claims follow-up. We’re looking for someone who can confidently navigate complex denials, analyze payer trends, and work accounts through to resolution with accuracy and persistence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct follow-up on outstanding physician claims to ensure timely reimbursement

• Investigate and resolve denied or underpaid claims by analyzing payer behavior and documentation

• Communicate with insurance companies, providers, and internal departments to resolve billing issues

• Submit corrected claims and appeals as needed

• Maintain accurate records of billing activity and status of claims

• Meet productivity and accuracy standards while managing assigned A/R inventory

Requirements:

• Previous experience in physician billing and claims follow-up required

• In-depth knowledge of commercial and government payers, denial codes, and appeal processes

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Familiarity with billing software and electronic health record systems
