Senior Accountant - Northwestern Suburbs, IL

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the northwestern suburbs of Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Advanced MS Office and accounting software skills

• Strong data analysis skills

• Knowledge of US-GAAP and accounting standards

• Excellent multitasking and accuracy

• Strong communication skills

• Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs

• Manufacturing/Distribution experience (preferred)

• CPA preferred

• ERP systems experience; Business Central a plus

• BI tools experience a plus

• Strong organizational skills

• Independent and detail-oriented

• Collaborative and problem-solving mindset

Responsibilities

• Handle deposits for all offices

• Process payroll and journal entries

• Maintain trust account compliance

• Reconcile bank and ledger accounts

• Update schedules and post journal entries

• Prepare audit schedules and tax returns

• Develop budget and monthly forecasts

• Draft financial statements for management
