Project Coordinator / Program Coordinator position in Oakbrook, IL!

Lee Hecht Harrison is looking for an Administrative professional with a knack for people management to coordinate volunteer staffing for a wide variety of social services. If you’re interested in developing your project management skills in a non-profit workplace, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities:

Coordinating a volunteer staff of over 1,800 – assisting with new volunteer onboarding, training, vetting, scheduling, and task assignment depending on need & preference

Working directly with onsite program managers to ensure sufficient volunteer staffing for events, activities, and vital services for senior citizens

Promoting the volunteer program to attract new volunteers while ensuring the satisfaction of the current volunteer roster

Working within the HubSpot CRM system to monitor & follow up on new volunteer inquiries funneled from website traffic, online searches, and other partner organizations

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in a Project Management, Project Coordinator, Administrative, Recruiter, or HR position and a passion for working in the non-profit sector

Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with volunteers and colleagues alike. Must be a people motivator with an ability to inspire excitement for a project

Experience with onboarding new hires or volunteers and administrating mandatory training a plus

Must be comfortable with managing a high volume of paperwork, compliance tasks, and some program promotional outreach

Hours:

Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm (Full-Time; 40 Hours Per Week)
