Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator
Location: Oakdale, CA 95361
Pay Rate: $37.00 - $38.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time, onsite
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated EHS Coordinator to support and assist in managing the plant’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. This role plays a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance, promoting workplace safety, tracking facility inspections, and supporting a zero-injury culture. The ideal candidate will help implement safety systems, support investigations, and provide ongoing reporting and follow-up on safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and distribute reports tracking EHS metrics and goals.
Support the implementation of corporate safety initiatives and tracking systems.
Assist in accident investigations and the development of detailed reports.
Monitor employee health and safety practices across the facility.
Help maintain and update emergency action plans.
Track and follow up on safety violations and corrective actions.
Contribute to achieving a world-class, injury-free workplace.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with food safety, quality, and manufacturing processes preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.
Experience with continuous improvement tools and methods is a plus.
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills are desirable.
Ability to interpret technical data and reports.
Pay Details: $37.00 to $38.00 per hour
